Preserving the unique architecture of Old City, promoting appropriate development, and providing a forum to discuss land use matters
Duties
This committee holds regularly-scheduled public meetings, monitors development activity, responds to zoning variance requests submitted to the ZBA, and appeals to the Board of L & I Review and Common Pleas Court, and Historical Commission and Planning Commission submissions, and proactively encourages land-uses and development that meets the requirements under the established zoning code and special zoning overlay for Old City. Developments Committee meetings are open to the public, but OCCA members must attend four consecutive meetings to become a voting Committee member. Votes take place in Executive Session as called by the Chair.

Meetings
The Committee meets at 8:00 AM every other Tuesday at the Christ Church Neighborhood House, 20 N. American Street. Meetings are open to the public, and public comment is welcome, but only committee members can vote on issues.
